Airports
George & Lynch airport construction dates to the original runway during World War II at what is now Dover Air Force Base.
The company has worked at Dover Air Force Base since the 1940s, routinely winning multi-year pavement contracts. We most recently awarded a multi-year indefinite delivery contract for work on and around the flight line.
Our airport construction projects involve:
- Demolition
- Hot-mix asphalt overlays
- Saw cutting, crack sealing
- Replacing concrete parking pads forC-5 cargo planes
Because our staff understands how runway and taxiway projects affect airport operations, other airports trust us.
Our crews recently rebuilt the sole runway and taxiway at Delaware Airpark in Cheswold for Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA). We have also worked at Cambridge Airport, Ocean City, Maryland Airport, Salisbury Airport and the airport in Georgetown, Delaware. We also work with quality lighting and pavement marking subcontractors to ensure customer satisfaction.
